REGISTRATION POLICY

Identification

To attend Genderverse FurCon you must present a current and valid photo identification.

This identification must contain your legal name, a current photograph, and your date of birth. Valid forms of identification include, but are not limited to:

Passport

Driver’s License

Age of Majority card

Landed Immigrant Card

Tribal Band Card

or other government-issued forms of identification.

In the case of minors who may not have a government-issued photo ID, we will accept a government-issued ID without a photo along with a non-government-issued photo ID (such as a school ID.)

Your identification is used to verify your identity and age; it is not stored, copied, or used for any other purpose by Genderverse FurCon staff.

Badge

Your proof of registration for a Genderverse Furries event is a badge. You will be provided with a badge bearing your name, attendee level, and badge number at the event as part of your registration package, after your identity has been verified using your photo identification.

This badge is to remain visible at all times and must be worn to gain access to any spaces reserved by Genderverse FurCon. If it is not visible, you may be asked to show your badge at any time by any member of the Genderverse FurCon or venue staff team.

If you lose your badge, please bring your photo ID to registration to get a new badge.

Minors

Genderverse FurCon is open to minors between the ages of 13 years old and 17 years old as of the first day of the event. Anyone aged 12 or younger as of the first day of a given event will not be permitted to attend. When registering, all minors must present a completed Parental Consent Form, which will be retained by Genderverse FurCon, for their registration to be processed.

Please contact us if you have any questions about attending as a minor, or bringing a minor to Genderverse FurCon.

All minors between 13 and 15 years old as of the first day of the event must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (chaperone) at all times.

Minors 16 years old or older as of the first day of the event do not require chaperone accompaniment.

Refund Policy

We cannot offer refunds at this time, but we very much appreciate your support. During pre-registration, we may offer a one-time transfer (to another person or to the next year) of your pre-registration if you cannot attend, but this will not be available when pre-registration closes or at the event. To make arrangements to transfer your pre-registration, please contact us at registration@genderversefurcon.com and we will assist you.
